Today we will be reflecting on the beautiful truth —Jesus is The Peace That Protects.

And having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Ephesians 6:15; For He Himself is our peace…Ephesians 2:14 NKJV

My Dear Precious Child,

I not only give you peace, but I AM your peace. I will equip you with The Gospel of Peace. I will protect your goings for Me. It is My peace that strengthens you to stand firm against all the attacks of the evil one. Set your feet on Me, The Solid Rock, and I will keep you from slipping. I will keep your feet from stepping in the snares of the enemy. When you truly understand The Gospel of Peace, perfect love will cast out all your fears. When you trust in Me with all your heart, with all your mind, and with all your soul, you will experience a calmness that the human mind cannot fully understand. When the storms are raging around you, I will be walking on the water with you, and I will not let you sink. When you are in the furnace of affliction, I will be with you and not even one hair on your head will be scorched. I long to remove you from the raging waters and the fiery furnace, and one day I will. But for now I allow them, for I know that they are causing you to grow, to depend on Me, to learn to patiently endure like a good soldier so that you may obtain The Crown of Life. Do not be afraid or dismayed because of the powers of darkness, for I have already overcome them. After you have been tried, you will come forth as gold. Dwell in My Secret Place, under the shadow of My wings, for My presence shall go with you, and you will find true peace and rest for your soul.

Love,
Jesus

What a beautiful reflection! The peace Jesus gives is not merely the absence of trouble—it is His presence in the midst of it. And Jesus is not merely the One who gives us peace—He Himself is our peace (Ephesians 2:14), steadying us to stand firm when life grows stormy. The storm may still rage, the furnace may still burn, and the battle may still be real, but none of those things have the final word. Christ does. Our security is not found in calmer circumstances, but in being anchored to the One whom circumstances cannot move. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee” (Isaiah 26:3). What a precious place to stand when everything around us feels uncertain.
