Today we will be reflecting on the beautiful truth—Jesus is The Breastplate of Righteousness.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness. Ephesians 6:14; For He put on righteousness as a breastplate… Isaiah 59:17 NKJV

My Dear Precious Child,

I AM The Breastplate of Righteousness. Nothing you can do will ever earn you merit with God our Father. Your efforts to live right are as filthy rags. You can no more change yourself than a leopard can change his spots. Striving in your own strength will have you doing the things you do not want to do, and neglecting the things you really desire to do. Believe in Me. Call on My name, for there is no other name under heaven by which you can be saved. It is by My grace, and through My perfect righteousness, that you will be saved—not your works. For I took your sins upon Me so that I may clothe you with My Robe of Righteousness. When you come to Me with a contrite heart and confess your sins, I will be faithful and just to forgive you of all your sins. I will cleanse you from all unrighteousness. I will remove your filthy rags and clothe you with My Breastplate of Righteousness. I will cover your sins with My blood. Then you will stand in right standing before the Father. Your imperfect record will be blotted out, and when He sees you, He will see merit in My perfect record. It is through My strength that you will overcome. Your name will be found in The Book of Life, and you will hear Me say, “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into My joy.”

Love,
Jesus

Now, as you reflect on today’s truth—Jesus is The Breastplate of Righteousness, may you draw closer to Him. God Bless. See you next time.
