Today we will be reflecting on the beautiful truth—Jesus is The Shield of Faith.

Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Ephesians 6:16; Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:12 NKJV

My Dear Precious Child,

I AM The Shield of Faith. Look to Me, The Author and Finisher of your faith. I AM longing for you to make Me your Shield of Faith. Learn from Me. Behold My earthly life, for I embodied the true essence of faith. I had to be strong and courageous, demonstrating total and complete dependence on My Father. I had to walk by faith, not by sight. I surrendered My will to Him, becoming obedient even to dying the death of the cross. I had to step out in faith, believing that My Father would be faithful to His Word. My faith had to be strong enough to believe that I would rise again the third day, according to the Scriptures. I had to trust that My sacrifice would not be in vain. I had to trust that My Resurrection would guarantee that all who have fallen asleep believing in Me and demonstrating My faith will rise again, as I have risen. Like countless others, you too must confess that this world is not your home. You must recognize that you are a stranger and pilgrim on this earth. You must embrace the promises whose fulfillment seems so far away, being fully persuaded that in the Father’s timing they will come to pass. It is not enough to believe that I AM The Son of God, for all will someday bow the knee, acknowledging that I AM Lord. Take up My very own faith as your shield of protection. For when I come back, all who demonstrate this faith will receive immortality. They will see the promises of a heavenly country fulfilled and live with Me forever.

Love,
Jesus
