Today we will be reflecting on the beautiful truth—Jesus knows our heartache.
But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold. Job 23:10 NKJV
My Dear Precious Child,
I know your heartache. I see your hurt. I feel your disappointment. I know that you don’t understand why I withhold the very thing that your heart desires. Haven’t I promised that I will not withhold anything that is good for you? I AM your Father, and I desire only what is best for you. How I long to remove you from the situations that are causing you so much pain, but I know that in the end you will come forth as gold. I AM walking with you through the fires of affliction, and I will not allow you to be burned. I will preserve you from the evil one. I will give you beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Rejoice in the midst of all your trials, remembering that they are teaching you to patiently endure, strengthening your faith, and producing hope in you. My plans are not to give you ease in this world, for I want you to set your affections on things above. Someday, I will show you why I have led this way. You will see the final masterpiece you have become. You will see how my plans for you are of peace and not of evil. As long as you are in this world, you will face trials and tribulations, but you don’t need to be afraid or discouraged, for I have overcome the world, and I AM working out all things for your good and for My glory.
Love,
Jesus
