Today we will be reflecting on the beautiful truth—Jesus yearns for us.

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.” Jeremiah 31:3 NKJV

My Dear Precious Child,

As the dear thirsts for the brooks of water, so should you thirst after the living water that only I can give you. I AM near, waiting to lead you to the still waters that you may drink and live. Diligently seek Me with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, while I can still be found. Call to Me, and I will show you great and mighty things that you cannot even begin to imagine. Do not harden your heart to My voice, for My sheep hear My voice and follow Me. My greatest desire is for you to yearn after Me as I yearn after you. Even now, I stand at your heart’s door knocking; if you choose to open the door, I will come in and dwell with you. I will fill you with true peace and joy. I will be your strength and your song — your salvation.
