Today’s Reflection:
…Because the Lord has heard your affliction. Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, “Have I also here seen Him who sees me?” Genesis 16:11,13 NKJV

Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. Jesus wept. John 11:33, 35 NKJV

Heavenly Father, thank You for noticing my pain, for feeling it, for collecting all my tears in Your tear bottle. I believe when tears run down my face they also run down Yours for Jesus wept. You said to carry one another’s burdens. Help me not get so wrapped up in carrying my own burdens, my own pain that I neglect to see another who is suffering. Help me be Your eyes to see the need. Your hands and feet to meet the need. Your ears to listen to those who are hurting. Your pen to write uplifting, edifying words. Your lips to speak encouraging words and to bring not only my petitions but those of others to Your throne in prayer also. Always remembering to do so with thanksgiving in my heart, believing that You are faithful to answer. In Jesus’ Name Amen
