Today’s Reflection: The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9 KJV

Search me, O God, and know my heart, try me and know my anxieties. And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalms 139:23-24 NKJV

Heavenly Father, I can’t even change the way I react without Your help. Your Word reminds us that the human heart can be deceitful and full of wickedness. You ask us who can know it? You clearly show us that only You know the true state of our hearts. While man looks on the outside, You look on the heart. Search us and know our hearts. Try us, know our thoughts. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit. Reveal to us any wicked way within us and lead us in the way everlasting. Awake us from our spiritual sleep. Quicken us. Revive us. Make us alive in You. Do a new thing in us.Transform us into the image of Christ. Put a new song in our hearts. Remove the stoney heart and give us a heart of flesh. Write Your laws, Your Word, in our hearts that we might not sin against You. May Your mercy and goodness pursue us all the days of our lives, and may we dwell in Your House forever. In Jesus’ Name Amen
