Today’s Reflection:
..Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving…”But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken from her. ” see Luke 10:38-42 NKJV

I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I will not be moved. Psalms 16:8 NKJV

Heavenly Father, forgive us for the times we take our eyes off You and trust in self or others: for the times we have been wrapped up in wordly pursuits, concerns, even “good ” things that we have neglected to spend time with You just to be still and know You are God. Sometimes, like Martha, we are to busy serving You to sit at Your feet like Mary to know You more and learn of You. Sometimes, like Peter, we are walking on water in a spiritual sense, our trust securely in You. Then, in a moment, we take our eyes off. You, worry, and doubt creep in, and we start to sink. Thankfully, when we cry out for help, You deliver us from trouble. Help us Father to be still and know You are God: moment by moment keeping our eyes focused on You: fully trusting in You. In Jesus’ Name Amen
