Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. I Timothy 6:6-7 NKJV

Heavenly Father, all that we have belongs to You. Help us to realize this and seek You and Your wisdom that we may know what You would have us to do with it. Set our affections on things above which will never be destroyed not on the things of this world that will be destroyed. Your Word gives us a question to ponder: what will it profit us to have all these worldly goods if we were to lose our soul. We came into this world with nothing, and we will leave with nothing. May nothing come between us and our Saviour. Search us and know our hearts. Try us and know our thoughts. Reveal to us what is separating us from You. Give us the courage to remove it from our lives: our home. Bring down any strongholds in our lives. Create in us a clean heart. Renew a right spirit within us. Fill us with songs of deliverance as we trust in You. May Your praises spring forth from our lips. In Jesus’ Name Amen
