Today’s Reflection: If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 NKJV

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to past. Psalms 37:4-5 NKJV

Heavenly Father, Your Word tells us that if we lack wisdom, we are to ask You, and You will give it abundantly and freely. You warn us not to lean on our own understanding: to be not wise in our own eyes. We cannot trust our own hearts, for they are deceitfully wicked above all things. Create in us clean hearts. Wash us white as snow. Remove our stoney hearts. Replace them with hearts of flesh. Engrave Your Words, Your commandments, and law on our hearts and minds that we might not sin against You. Change us. Transform us. Mold us into the very likeness of Christ. So that the desires of our hearts are Christ’s very own desires for us. Remove any desire
for worldly things from our hearts. Set our affections on things above. Forgive us. Blot out our sins. Remember them no more. Do a new thing in us. In Jesus’ Name Amen
