Today’s Reflection: Give us this day our daily bread. Matthew 6:11 NKJV

…Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4 KJV

And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” John 6:35 NKJV

Heavenly Father, Thank You for revealing to me that we are to pray not only for our physical needs to be met, but also for our spiritual. Jesus said that we should not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Daily, we should ask of You for our daily bread. Give us more of Jesus, for He is the Bread of Life. For without Him, there is no life. Only through Jesus do we obtain eternal life. Abiding in Jesus and Him in us brings forth fruit meant for repentance. The
fruit of the Spirit love, joy, peace, goodness, long-suffering, meekness, gentleness, faith and temperance would be found in us. May we today take time to be still and wait upon You that we may know You and Your good and perfect will for our lives. Give us today our daily bread. In Jesus’ Name Amen
