Today’s Reflection
But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them. Hebrews 11:16 NKJV

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory II Corinthians 4:17 NKJV

Heavenly Father,
You have shown me that even in all my infirmities, my weaknesses, and in spite of all my mistakes, You are still using me. You are my strength and my song. The One in whom I live, breathe, move, and have my very being. You, Jehovah, are my God. My finite mind can not comprehend Your ways or Your thoughts. I can not imagine the good and perfect gifts You have in store for me. Your Word reassures us that the trials and afflictions we go through now will seem like nothing when we experience the glory You are preparing for us. We are pilgrims on this Earth, preparing for our true home, our hope is set on the heavenly country which our eyes can not see, but our hearts long for. Write Your laws on our hearts and minds that we may not sin against You.
In Jesus’ Name Amen
