Today’s Reflection:
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
I Peter 5:8 NKJV

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:10-11 NKJV

Heavenly Father, Your Word tells us we are not wrestling against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. You warn us to be sober, to be vigilant because our adversary the devil is walking about like a roaring lion seeking who he may devour. He is out to steal, kill and destroy. But we know that You who are in us is greater than he that is in the world. You have promised to preserve our souls from evil. You have commanded us to be strong in You and in the power of Your might and to put on Your armor so we can stand against the wiles of the devil  with the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace, the helmet of salvation,  the belt of truth, the shield of faith and the Sword of the Spirit protecting us. Place Your armor upon us. In Jesus’ Name Amen
