Today’s Reflection:
Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.
          I Timothy 6:6-8 NKJV

Heavenly Father, I know trials and challenges will always be a part of this life. You have admonished us not to worry about tomorrow. Today has enough trouble of its own. You have commanded us to be content with what we have, for You will never leave us or forsake. All we need You will supply as You have promised. May we set our affections on things above, not on the things of this earth. Your Word reminds us that we brought nothing into this world, and we can notke anything out of this world. Teach us, Lord, to be content in whatever circumstances we are in. Your Word says if we have food and clothing, we should be content.  Forgive us for times we have neglected to trust You. Release our affections from the things of this world that are here today and gone tomorrow. In Jesus’ Name Amen
