Today’s Reflection:
Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your Word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O Lord of hosts.
Jeremiah 15:16 NKJV

Heavenly Father, You are teaching me how to delight in You. I find extreme pleasure in rising in the early morning hours while it is still dark like Jesus did to be still before You in the quiet before the busyness of the day intrudes. I am finding Your Word a great delight to my soul. It fills me with great comfort, joy and peace. The more I delight in Your Word, day and night, memorizing it, meditating on it, the more You are changing the desires of my heart. You are my delight: to do Your will is my greatest desire. Teach me to love You with all my heart, soul and mind and to love my neighbor as myself. Your laws and the teachings of the prophets reveal to us how we are to love You and others. Write Your laws upon my heart and mind. May I call them a delight. In Jesus’ Name Amen
