Heart Reflections for the Soul

Prayer for Jesus to be my only stronghold in my life.

Today’s Reflection:
The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? Psalms 27:1 NKJV

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. II Corinthians 5:21 NKJV

Heavenly Father, may You be the only stronghold in our lives. Remove any strongholds of addiction, fear, doubt, and all other deceptions and lies of the evil one from our hearts and minds. Replace them with Your Word: Your Truth. Fortifiy our minds with Your Word that we might not sin against You. Reveal the suffering and pain our sins afflict on ourselves and others. Show us the pain You experience when we sin. Place in us a desire never to hurt You in word or deed. Put enmity in our
hearts towards Satan and an abhorrence for evil that we choose not to sin. But if we do sin to repent immediately and turn to Jesus, who is our advocate before You. It is because of His shed blood, His record that we can stand before You as though we are perfect. May we choose Jesus today, who is Truth and Life. In Jesus’ Name Amen
