Heart Reflections for the Soul

Prayer asking You to mend my brokenness, use it, and me for Your glory.

Today’s Reflection:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;…To comfort all who mourn…to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness… Isaiah 61:1-3 NKJV

Heavenly Father, take me. Take my pain, my hurts, my disappointments, my brokenness. Use it all for Your glory. Mend me. Mold me. Make me into who You
desire for me to be in Christ Jesus. Take back any ground in my life that Satan has claimed because I have allowed bitterness, anger, and resentment in my life instead of forgiving those who have hurt me. He stole my peace and joy, but no more. You have restored it. By letting go. By forgiving them, you have set me free. What he meant for harm I know You are using for my good and the good of others. You have comforted me that I may comfort others with that same comfort. You have turned my ashes into beauty that I may help others do the same. You have set me free that I can help bring others to You so they too can be free. Here I am. Use me. In Jesus’ Name Amen
