Today’s Reflection:
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 NKJV

Heavenly Father, Help me to realize that nothing, but Jesus, the Living Water, can quench my thirst. The things of this world, no matter how satisfying, how fun, they seem at the time, always leave me thirsting for something more. The inner peace, the stillness from turmoil, I long for cannot come from this imperfect broken world whose peace is only an allusion. True peace comes not from riches, things, or even people, but only from knowing You and keeping my mind focused on You. Help me Father to take every thought, emotion, passion, and desire captive to You, Your plans and purpose for my life, only dwelling on those that are of You and will bring peace into my life. Replace any lies from the enemy with the Truths in Your Word. Fill me with Your love, peace, and joy. In Jesus’ Name Amen
