Today’s Reflection:
We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down but not destroyed—
2 Corinthians 4 : 8-9

Heavenly Father, Jesus said that we will face many tribulations, trials, and persecutions. Blessed are we when we are reviled, persecuted, spoken falsely of for Jesus’ sake. We are not to be afraid but to take heart. He has overcome the world. He gives us perfect peace, which the world cannot give or understand. You command us to be strong and of a good courage for You are with us. When we are troubled on every side, there is no need to be distressed. We can be preplaxed without
dispair. Persecuted, but not forsaken. Cast down but not destroyed. Our light affliction which lasts only for a moment orks out a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Father, help me keep my eyes on You and the prize of eternal life for the things we can see are temporal, but the things we cannnot see are eternal. In Jesus’ Name Amen
