Heart Reflections for the Soul

Thank You, Father, for hugging us with the beauty of nature and making beauty from the storms of life.

Today’s Reflection:
In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also. The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land. Oh, come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. Psalms 95:4-6 NKJV

Heavenly Father, when life gets rough and tough, we can struggle to see the beauty around us. Help us to stop, be still, consider nature, Your creation,to learn from it and know You are God. Thank You, that after the storm comes beauty. The rainbow of promise in the sky, the glistening light of the sunrise on grass the morning after, the little raindrops on leaves and flowers, the glowing colors of the sunrise in the sky, the birds singing their morning praises and the frolicking of the wildlife, and the peace and quiet of the river before the busyness of the day intrudes with all the noise it brings. All this is a reminder that You take our storms, our ashes from our brokenness, our pain, all we experience and make something beautiful when we surrender ourselves to You. Thank You, Father, for Your precious hugs to comfort us. In Jesus’ Name Amen
