Today’s Reflection:
Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the inquiry of us all. Isaiah 53:4-6 NKJV

Heavenly Father, Your Word says that we are all like sheep who have gone astray and that all have gone our own way. You laid our sins on Jesus, who has carried our griefs and our sorrows. He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. Thank You that because Jesus died in our place, we can be restored to right relationship with You. Help us to admit that we are sinners in need of a Saviour and believe that because of Jesus’ shed blood we can be forgiven for our past sins and live a victorious life now; and to claim that victory by seeking Your help, for we cannot change ourselves.
Help us to die daily to self, surrender our will to You, and confess our sins. Thank You that we can choose to listen to Your still small voice directing us and be free from Satan’s snares. In Jesus’ Name Amen
