Today’s Reflection:
For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation on His head; He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, And was clad with zeal as a cloak. So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood; the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:17, 19 NKJV

Heavenly Father, It amazes me that You, Yourself, lift up the standard against the enemy. You clothe Yourself in the same armor that You offer us and go to battle for us. Help us to remember that the battle is Yours, not ours. You have already secured the victory through Jesus , His life, death, and resurrection. Help us to remember that the battle is about You, Your character being vindicated not just about us. Reveal to us Satan’s tactics, snares, and nets. Rescue us from his traps. Remove any wicked way from us. Lead us into Your paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. Help us to choose this day as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Place upon us Your full armor that we may stand firm in times of prosperity or times of trouble against the deceptions and lies of Satan. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
