Today’s Reflection:
I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. John 17:15-16  NKJV

Heavenly Father, I thank You that this world is not my true home, and my true citizenship is in Heaven. I am only a wayfaring stranger, a Pilgrim,  just passing through. I am on my way to a better place: a heavenly country where I will be with You. This world is my preparation. All the trials and afflictions I am experiencing now will seem so light and fleeting compared to the eternal glory I will one day see. The hope we have in Jesus comforts me and brings me through each day. Without this hope, I would sink into a pit of despair never to get out. But when I start to sink and cry out to You, You honor my faith and pull me out of the miry clay, placing my feet on Jesus,The Solid Rock. You place in my heart a new song to sing. Help me to remember that the old  things will pass away and all things will become new. I will be made new. In Jesus’ Name Amen
