Today’s Reflection:
But now, thus says the Lord, who created    you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Isreal: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers,      they shall not overflow you. When you  walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. Isaiah 43:1-2 NKJV

Heavenly Father, in this life, we know we will have trials and burdens to bear. You command us to rejoice in them for they are refining us, drawing us closer to You causing us to trust in You more, to depend on Your strength more and preparing us to live with You forever. You know us by name and everything  about us, even the number of hairs on our head. Not one hair on our head can be scorched without Your permission. I am in awe of the stories of divine protection for Your righteous followers: Daniel in the lion’s den, the three Hebrews in the firey furnace, and John in the oil. So many times, You protect Your children from the evil one, not by taking them out of their trobles but by bringing them through them. Give us patience to endure with praise and grace to overcome. In Jesus’ Name Amen
