Today’s Reflection:
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set  before us, Hebrews 12:1 NKJV

Heavenly Father, help us run the race of life in such a way that we will obtain the prize of eternal life. May we release the past to You, press forward towards the goal living each moment in Your Presence overcoming the sin that so easy entangles us: giving up all, even the inherently good, that is hindering us from running the race with endurance that You have set before us. Help us to wait on You, to renew our strength, to mount up with wings as eagles, to run and not be weary, and to walk and not faint. May we take time in the busyness of life to be still before You and know You are God: to know Your will. May we hear Your voice saying, “This is the way; walk in it,” and obey it. Help us to trust in all our ways and choose the Way that leads to Life. In Jesus’ Name Amen
