Today’s Reflection:
For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. Romans 7:14-15 NKJV

Heavenly Father, my mind is a spiritual battlefield. It is like a constant tug a war between the desire to do good and the desire to do evil. I long to love You with
all my being and obey all You command me to do, but so many times I find myself doing the very opposite, and I give into the evil desires of the flesh. I find myself partaking of that which is pleasing to see, hear, touch, smell, or taste without regard to what Your will and purpose is for me and my life. Even
when You have revealed to me Your precise will for me in a given situation, and I know it is for my good, I find myself struggling to do the good I really desire to do and end up doing the bad I do not want to do. Lord, help me to choose today to serve You in all aspects of my life. Help me choose to die to self, take up Your cross, deny the flesh, and obey You . In Jesus’ Name Amen
