Today’s Reflection:
beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:1-2 NKJV
Heavenly Father, in Your Word we are encouraged to present our bodies, ourselves, as living sacrifices to You. Teach
us how to discern Your will for us in every aspect of our lives. May everything we eat or drink, everything we do bring glory to You. Transform our minds so our thoughts, our affections, and our desires are placed on eternal things which cannot be seen by the human eye and not on worldly things.
Guard our minds for what we behold, what we take pleasure in will change us. When we behold Jesus and meditate on Your Word, You will change the desires of our hearts to align with Your purpose and will for our lives then You will be able to give us
the desires of our hearts. Guide us as we make our choices today. May we choose not to harden our hearts to Your leading in our lives. In Jesus’ Name Amen
