Prayer for the Helmet of Salvation, the very mind of Christ to protect our brain, the seat of thinking and the very command center of our body.

Today’s Reflection:

Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting. Psalms 139:23-24 NKJV

Heavenly Father, Search us and know our hearts. Try us and know our thoughts. See if there be any wicked way in us. Lead us in the way everlasting. Teach us to take every thought, emotion, passion, and desire captive to You for our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the powers of darkness. Place on us the helmet of salvation, the mind of Jesus, to protect our brain, the seat of thinking, and the very command center of our body. Help us to choose daily, to surrender our will to You moment by moment. You have already won the battle. You promise us victory over sin in our lives. Teach us to be overcomers by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. May we accept Your invitation to come and reason together that our sins, which are as scarlet, can be made white as snow. In Jesus’ Name Amen
