Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen

Heavenly Father, You remind us not to worry about tomorrow for today has enough trouble of its own. It is so easy to become overwhelmed with all our roles, responsibilities, challenges, and trials that we neglect to share them with You. O how You long to comfort us in our troubles so that we can experience the wonder of Your perfect peace. Your Word tells us to seek peace and pursue it. Many times, we seek peace in all the wrong places. We expect the things of this world to bring us peace and happiness. We rely on humans to fulfill us and bring us joy. But the Truth is only by trusting in You, the only immortal, invisible, all wise God will we have true peace. You alone are infallible, always trustworthy, and will never let us down. Teach me to depend on You, not self, not others, not things that will not bring peace. In Jesus’ Name Amen
