Today’s Reflection:
You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. II Timothy 2:3-4 NKJV

Heavenly Father, I need Your help in this race of life, to endure trials as a good soldier in Your army not entangled in life’s affairs but having my eyes set firmly on the prize of eternal life. May I know You and Jesus Christ, who You sent. Only with Your power can I stand against the devil’s schemes, principalities, powers, spiritual wickedness in high places, and the rulers of darkness of this world. Clothed with Jesus as Your armor of light,we can have victory. Covered with His righteousness, we stand in right standing before You. We need Him as Truth and Peace to premeate our lives. May we take up the shield of faith, and the Sword of the Spirit sending Satan fleeing with it is written. Place on us the helmet of salvation. Let this mind be in us, which was in Christ Jesus. Make me into the vessel You desire me to be. In Jesus’ Name Amen
