Today’s Reflection:
The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3:25-26 NKJV

Heavenly Father, thank You for being patient with us when we go and do our own thing instead of waiting on You to fulfill Your promises in Your perfect timing. Forgive us for the times we have become impatient in our waiting on You and moved ahead of You. Our human attempts to help You fulfill Your promises in our lives have brought unnecessary pain and hardships to not only ourselves but to others. Your Word records stories of individuals who grew tired of waiting for You to accomplish what You promised them decided to do it their way and the consequences of their choices are even now being played out thousands of years later. Help us, Father, to hear Your still small voice and obey it, realizing that You are leading us in the way we ourselves would choose if we were able to see the whole picture. In Jesus’ Name Amen
