Today’s Reflection:

This is the day the Lord has made, We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118:24 NKJV

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22, 23 KJV

Heavenly Father, this is the day You have made. I choose to rejoice and be glad in it regardless of the challenges I face today: the trials and afflictions I am going through I choose to trust You and not to be afraid, dismayed or discouraged for You are my God. Others will let me down, but  You never will abandon me. Jesus said if He was lifted up, He would draw all people to Himself, to You. Open our eyes, ears, hearts, and our minds that we may see You are drawing us to Yourself. You desire to set us free and fill us with Your Holy Spirit who will give us love, joy and peace; will help us be humble, have self-control that can only come from depending on You; grow in our faith and endurance; and help us be good, kind, gentle and long-suffering towards others forgiving others as You for Christ’s sake forgive us. In Jesus’ Name Amen
