Today’s Reflection:

I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 
          John 17:15, 20 NKJV

Heavenly Father It amazes me that Jesus, Himself, prayed for me while He was on this earth many years before I was even born and is even now interceding on my behalf in Heaven. While Satan tests  us, sifts us like wheat, Jesus prays for us. His prayers for His followers extended to all who would believe in Him through their word. He prayed for unity with You and all believers. Instead of praying that we be removed from the world, His prayer was for protection from the evil one. He prayed that we would be sanctified, made holy, by Your Truth: Your Word. He prayed through our unity with You that the world may know that You love them as You love Him: that they may know You sent Him and believe in Him. For whosoever believes in Jesus will have eternal life and not perish. Use me to share Your love. In Jesus’ Name Amen
