Today’s Reflection:
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, II Corinthians 10:4-5 NKJV
Heavenly Father, renew our minds with the truths in Your Word so that we will no longer be conformed to the ways of the world for by beholding we are changed. Set our affections on things above that our desires will be more of Your Word, more of Jesus. This world is not our true home. We are pilgrims just passing through. We came into this world with no possessions, and we will leave with nothing. Remove anything from our lives that is preventing us from surrendering ourselves to You. Take back any ground that Satan has claimed through past choices we have made. For You have said that when we confess our sins You are faithful to not only forgive us, but to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Break down any strongholds and addictions in our lives that are preventing us from total surrender to You and Your will for our lives. In Jesus’ Name Amen
