Today’s Reflection:

Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying,  “Thus far the Lord has helped us” I Samuel 7:12 NKJV

Heavenly Father when I am tempted to give into dispear and become discouraged; when I feel burdened beyond measure; when life becomes more than I feel that I can bear, help me to put my trust in You and Your salvation for You alone can deliver me. Remind me how You have delivered me in the past. Reveal  to me how in the Present You are delivering me. Reaffirm the blessed hope of Your final delieverence for me. Hide me under the shadow of Your wings. Renew Your armor daily for me that I can stand firm against the fiery darts of the evil one. Replace any lies of Satan with the truths in Your Word , with Your power, Your authority send him fleeing from me, for You fight for us: not against flesh and blood but against evil powers. Help me to claim the victory Jesus has already won. In Jesus’ Name Amen
